BSE turnover rises 57%

In January-July 2021, deals on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) amounted to AZN 9,468,754,000, up 56.9% from the previous year.
According to Report, the number of deals went up by 18.2 to 6,452.
Meanwhile, government securities constituted 58.4% or AZN 5,528,522,000 of the BSE turnover, increasing by 41.3% compared to a year earlier.
Deals on the corporate securities market fell by six times to AZN 211.021 million, while repo operations showed a 4.3-fold increase, reaching AZN 3,729,210,000.
