BSE turnover drops 6%

Baku. 15 February. REPORT.AZ/ In January 2019, deals closed on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 1,926,172,000, down 6% from the previous year, Report informs.
The number of deals closed year-on-year increased by 13% to 10,340.
Government securities constituted 74% or AZN 1,425,016,000 of the BSE turnover, down 39.3% in comparison to a year earlier.
Derivative financial instruments market increased by 43.9% compared to a year earlier.
Deals on share market rose by 14-fold to AZN 322,000, on bond market by 91% to AZN 49.823 million, repo operations rose 3.1-fold to AZN 37.328 million, derivative financial instruments dropped by 57.22% to AZN 413.684 million.
