BBVB: Activity of Currency Exchange temporarily suspended

Baku. 4 June. REPORT.AZ/ Foreign exchange transactions between banks were temporarily suspended at the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BBVB). Currently transactions are carried out on the open market.
Report informs referring to BBVB, this is related with suspension of the activity of BBVB. The representative of the bank added that, this is only temporarily.
"The exact date of the resumption of activity of BBVB is unknown. However, closing of the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange is out of question", he said.
