The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) in January-April 2024 amounted to 11,151,642,000 manats (about $6.56 billion), up by 2.4-fold from the corresponding period of last year, Report informs.
Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions rose by 34.4% to 4,492.
Some 68.8% of BSE's turnover, or 7,673,974,000 manats (over $4.51 billion), fell to the share of repo operations, which is threefold more than a year ago.
During the reporting period, the value of transactions on state securities increased by 78.9% to 2,808,539,000 manats (over $1.65 billion), and the value of transactions on the corporate securities market increased by 20.2% to 669,129,000 manats ($393.6 million).
