Baku Stock Exchange turnover more than doubles

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) in January-March 2024 amounted to 7,548,980,000 manats ($4.44 billion), increasing by 2.3 times in comparison to the previous year, Report informs.

Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions increased by 16.8% to 3.132.

State securities more than doubled to 2,200,357,000 manats ($1.29 billion), accounting for 29.15% of BSE's turnover.

During the reporting period, the value of the transactions on the corporate securities market surged by 61.1% to 468,381,000 manats ($275.16 million), and repo operations more than doubled to 4,880,242,000 manats ($2.87 million).
