Baku Stock Exchange turnover drops 13%

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) for January-July this year amounted to 8,230.6 million manats ($4.84 billion), decreasing by 13.1% from last year.
Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has decreased 21% to 5,094.
State securities accounted for 4,548.796 million manats ($2.68 billion), or 55.3% of the BSE turnover, which is 17.7% less than a year earlier.
The value of transactions in the corporate securities market increased by about 2.7 times to 576.559 million manats ($339 million) during the reporting period, and repo transactions went down 16.7% to 3,105.270 million manats ($1.83 billion).
