Baku Stock Exchange turnover down by 28%

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) in January-April 2023 amounted to 4,685,779,000 manats ($2.76 billion), decreasing by 27.6% compared to a year earlier, Report informs.
Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has decreased by 6.75% to 3,342.
State securities accounted for 1,569,530,000 manats ($0.92 billion), or 33.5% of the BSE turnover, 55.55% less than a year earlier.
The value of transactions in the corporate securities market went up by 30.9% to 521.587 million manats ($306.82 million) during the reporting period, and repo transactions rose by 2.1% to 2,594,663,000 manats (about $1.53 billion).
