Baku's wage boom: average salaries surge almost 10%

The average monthly nominal salary of hired workers in Baku, Azerbaijan rose by 9.4 % year-on-year and amounted to 1,282.6 manats ($754.47) in the first four months of 2024, Report informs, citing the Baku City Statistical Department.

Meanwhile, the average monthly nominal salary of hired workers in Azerbaijan for January-April of this year grew 10.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2023 and reached 1,007.5 manats ($592.65).
