Azerbaijani president approves implementation of 2024 state budget

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved the "Bill on the implementation of the state budget for 2024" adopted by the Milli Majlis on July 4.
Report recalls that last year the budget revenues amounted to 37.16 billion manats ($21.86 billion), which is 5.5% more compared to the previous year and 2.1% more than the forecast.
The budget expenditures were 37.71 billion manats ($22.18 billion), which is 3.4% more in annual comparison, but 5.1% less than the forecast.
During the year, the budget deficit amounted to 551.8 million manats ($324.59 million), or 0.4% of GDP.
