Azerbaijani MP: Issuing licenses for pawnshops very important

The issuance of licenses for the activities of pawnshops in Azerbaijan is very important, Deputy Vahid Ahmadov said at today’s meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Report informs.

He noted that the deputies should try to adopt the law “On pawnshops.”

Ahmadov also touched upon the issue of artificial price growth in Azerbaijan: “I don’t see any changes on this issue yet. I don’t believe inflation will drop in 2023.”

He noted that in connection with the rise in prices in Georgia they set the maximum price above which products cannot be sold: “I propose to hold a meeting with the Ministry of Economy on pricing policy.”
