Azerbaijani manat's nominal, real effective exchange rates down

As of April 1, 2025, the nominal effective exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat against foreign currencies was 105.9 points, Report informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This was 2.8 points lower than the previous month, 3.3 points less than the beginning of the year, and 2.2 points more than April 1, 2024.
By the end of March 2025, the real effective exchange rate of the manat stood at 121.1 points. This marked a decrease of 3.5 points compared to the previous month, a 4-point decline compared to early 2025, and a 0.7-point drop year-on-year.
