Azerbaijani financial organizations to plant 1 million trees to honor Heydar Aliyev's memory

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan, the Association of Insurers of Azerbaijan, the Association of Microfinance of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Stock Market Participants Association and Azerbaijan Fintex Association signed a memorandum of understanding as part of a series of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, Report informs, citing the CBA.

The signatories of the memorandum will plant 1,000,000 trees over 10 years, or 100,000 trees per year, starting in 2023.
