Azerbaijan, UAE mull co-op prospects in banking sector

Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have discussed prospects for cooperation in the banking sector, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, wrote on X, Report informs.
“As part of our visit to the UAE we had our first meeting with H.E Khaled Mohamed Balama, Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting we exchanged views on the current economic ties between our countries, development of the financial sectors in both countries, and the status and prospects of cooperation between the central banks,” Kazimov wrote.
