Azerbaijan to offer reduced listing fees to those issuing green bonds

The Baku Stock Exchange CJSC (BSE) plans to make certain concessions in the listing rates to promote the development of the green bond segment, Ogtay Gasimov, the Chief Commercial Officer of the BSE, told Report.

According to Gasimov, the framework for green bonds is based on the parameters outlined in the financial taxonomy:

“There won’t be a special tariff for green bonds, but since this area is new and of state interest, we can reduce or eliminate the tariffs. This would be the stock exchange’s contribution to developing this segment.”
