Azerbaijan sees more than 8% growth in positive balance of foreign trade turnover

In January-May 2021, Azerbaijan’s trade operations with foreign countries amounted to $11,820.2 million, up 6.1% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.

Export accounted for $ 7.427 billion, up 6.5% from the previous year. Import rose by 5.5% to $4.393 billion.

Consequently, the positive balance of trade turnover amounted to $3.034 billion, which is 8.1% higher than a year earlier.
