Azerbaijan sees 8% increase in broad money supply

As of July 1, 2025, the broad money supply (M3 aggregate) in Azerbaijan totaled 48.468 billion manat, Report informs.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this represents a 0.3% increase compared to the previous month, a 4.2% rise since the beginning of the year, and a 7.6% increase compared to the same period last year.
Specifically, the money supply in manat (M2 aggregate) amounted to 36.818 billion manat, showing a 2.9% increase month-on-month, a 0.5% rise since the start of the year, and a 4.8% increase compared to the same period last year.
As of July 1, 2025, demand deposits (M1 aggregate) totaled 29.430 billion manat, which is a 3.8% increase from the previous month, a 0.7% decrease since the beginning of the year, and a 3.1% rise compared to the same period last year.
The amount of cash outside of banks (M0 aggregate) stood at 16.514 billion manat, which is a 2.1% increase month-on-month, a 4.1% rise since the start of the year, and a 5.9% increase compared to the same period last year.
