Azerbaijan sees 36% growth in budget deficit

The budget revenues of Azerbaijan in 2022 made up 30,600.6 million manats ($18 billion) and the budget expenditures – 32,008.3 million manats ($18.83 billion), respectively, up 16.2% and 16.7% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Consequently, the budget deficit amounted to 1,347.7 million manats ($0.79 billion), up 35.6% from a year earlier.
