Azerbaijan sees 3% decline in positive balance of foreign trade turnover

In January-April 2021, Azerbaijan’s trade operations with foreign countries amounted to $9.893 billion, up 2.1% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.
Export accounted for $ 6.364 billion, up 0.9% from the previous year. Import dropped 4.3% to $3.529 billion.
Consequently, the positive balance of trade turnover amounted to $2.835 billion, which is 3% lower than a year earlier.
