Azerbaijan sees 2% decrease in transactions via foreigners' bank cards

In January-May 2023, the volume of transactions carried out by foreign citizens using bank cards in Azerbaijan amounted to 851.3 million manats ($500.76 million), down 2.2% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Export Review presented by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
In May alone, the amount of transactions carried out by foreigners via bank cards amounted to 173.4 million manats ($102 million), 5.8% less than a year earlier.
