Azerbaijan sees 15% decline in troubled loans

As of September 1, 2021, the overdue loans in Azerbaijan stood at AZN 904.2 million, down 3.55% from the previous month.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure is a 1.2% increase from early 2021 and a 15.1% decline from a year earlier.
In the reporting period, the share of troubled loans in the total loan portfolio made up 5.8%, while this figure was 6.1% on January 1 and 7.3% on August 1, 2020.
