Azerbaijan's public catering turnover rises by 37%

In 2022, the public catering turnover in Azerbaijan increased by 37% in real terms compared to last year and amounted to 1,586,000,000 manats ($932.3 million).

Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee, that 49.6% of public catering turnover in the private sector belongs to legal entities and 50.4% to natural persons engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this field.

During the reporting period, 10.6 million manats ($6.6 million) of the public catering turnover were the share of the public sector, and 1.58 billion manats ($928.75 million) were the share of the non-state sector.

The turnover of legal entities increased by 33.5% compared to last year and amounted to 793.3 million manats ($466.3 million).
