Azerbaijan’s positive balance on foreign trade declines by 24%

In January-August 2023, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $35.505 billion, 1.1% more than a year ago, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
Over the year, exports decreased by 7.2% to $24.355 billion, while imports grew by 25.7% to $11.151 billion.
Consequently, a positive balance of $13.204 billion, 24% less than a year ago, was formed in foreign trade.
