Azerbaijan's insurance market grows 10%

In January-May of this year, 20 insurance companies of Azerbaijan collected over AZN 398.001 million in premiums, up 10.1% from the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The payments made by insurance companies during the reporting period amounted to AZN 208.233 million, which 48.6% more than a year earlier.
Over the past 5 months, AZN 53 of insurance payments accounted for every AZN 100 of insurance premiums, while this figure was AZN 33.9 in January-May 2020.
