Azerbaijan's imports from Türkiye fall 2% in 1H2026

In January-June of 2026, Azerbaijan imported goods worth just over $1.122 billion from Türkiye, marking a 2% decrease year-on-year (YoY), Report informs, citing the Türkiye Exporters Assembly.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan's imports accounted for 0.9% of Türkiye's total exports.

In June alone, however, Türkiye exported goods worth approximately $196.1 million to Azerbaijan – a sharp 31.8% increase compared to the same period last year.

Over the course of six months, Türkiye's largest export destinations were Germany (approximately $10.12 billion, +4.3% YoY), the United States (just over $6.97 billion, +10.5% YoY), and the United Kingdom (almost $6.85 billion, +4.5%).

In the first half of 2026, Türkiye's overall exports grew by 4.6% YoY to roughly $119.05 billion, while June alone saw a sharp 23.7% YoY rise, exceeding $21.8 billion.
