Ukraine's Defense Forces have struck 21 Russian tankers, as well as four tugboats, two dry cargo vessels, and a dredger in the waters of the Sea of Azov.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, cited by Report, the attack was carried out on the night of July 11 as part of measures aimed at reducing Russia's military and economic potential.
According to the General Staff, Russian tankers are used to transport oil and petroleum products in circumvention of international sanctions, providing revenues to finance military operations against Ukraine.
It was also noted that the damaged tugboats, dry cargo vessels, and dredger are used for military logistics, cargo transportation, and supporting port infrastructure operations.
