Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry earned $54M from SOFAZ in 2023

As of October 1, 2023, the amount of funds provided by Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry to the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) for management amounted to $777.744 million, according to the conclusion of the Accounting Chamber on the draft budget of the State Oil Fund for 2024, Report informs.

According to the document, this is $278.028 million, or 55.6% more than at the beginning of the year.

During January-September 2023, the Ministry of Finance earned $54.214 million or 3.8% of managed funds from SOFAZ.
