Azerbaijan generated almost 29.893 billion manats (just over $17.584 billion) of GDP in the first three months of 2025, marking a 0.3% increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, the production of added value in Azerbaijan's oil and gas sector fell by 3.8%, while increasing by 2.5% in the non-oil and gas sector.
In Azerbaijan, industry comprises 37% of the total GDP, followed by trade and vehicle repair - 10.63, transport and warehousing – 6.8%, and agriculture, forestry, and fishing – 3.1%. Construction contributes 5.8%, while tourist accommodation and catering account for 2.9%. Information and communication represent 1.8%, and other areas, along with net taxes on products and imports, constitute 21.6% and 10.7%, respectively.
During the reporting period, the value of GDP per person was 2,922 manats (about $1,718).
