Azerbaijan's economy grows by almost 1%

In January-November 2023, Azerbaijan produced a GDP of 110.2 billion manats ($58.86 billion) or 0.8% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.
Over the past year, added value in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 1.6%, and in the non-oil and gas sector increased by 3.2%.
According to the data, 41.2% of GDP production comes from industry, 9.9% from trade; repair of vehicles, 6.3% - transport and warehousing, 6.1% - agriculture, forestry and fishing, 5% - construction, 2.4% - tourist accommodation and catering, 1.7 % - IT and communications, 18% - other spheres. Net taxes on products and imports amounted to 9.4% of GDP.
The GDP per capita amounted to 10,856 manats ($6,378).
