Azerbaijan's economy grows nearly 6%

Azerbaijan's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rose by 5.8% to 92,257.6 million manats in January 2022, Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee (SSC).
The added value increased by 0.6% in the non-oil and gas sector 8.8% in the oil and gas sector. Per capita GDP rose 47.4% to 922 manats.
According to SSC, 54.4% of GDP was formed in industry, 8.4% in trade: repair of transport facilities, 6.6% in transport and warehousing, 3% in construction, 2.4% in agriculture, forestry and fishery, 1.4% information and communication, 1% in tourist accommodation and public catering, 16.6% in other fields. Net taxes on products and imports made up 7.2% of the GDP.
