Baku. 9 October. REPORT.AZ/ In 2014 economic growth in Azerbaijan is projected at 4.5%. Report informs referring to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). According to the statement, next year economic growth in Azerbaijan will be 4.3%. Last year the growth of the national economy amounted to 5.8%, and for the first 9 months of this year - 2.5%. At the same time, the IMF expecting growth of inflation. At the end of last year, inflation reached 2.4% in the first 9 months on results of 2014 - 1.5%, at the end of 2014 is expected to reach 2.8%, but at the end of 2015 - 3%.

The IMF also predicts a sharp decline in the ratio of current account balance to GDP. In 2014 this figure is projected at 14.6%, and in 2015 - 10.4%. In 2013 the ratio of the current account to GDP ratio was 17%.
