Azerbaijan's Customs Committee posts 5% decline in budget transfers

In January-March 2021, the State Customs Committee (SCC) transferred AZN 943,539,000,000 to the state budget, marking a decrease of 4.8% in comparison to the previous year, the Committee told Report.
In the reporting period, revenues from customs duties increased by 1.1% to AZN 260,727,000, from value-added tax (VAT) - fell by 7.9% to AZN 636,883,000, from excises - surged 13.8% to AZN 35,705,000, and from road tax – dropped 3.8% to AZN 10,225,000.
