Azerbaijan's Customs Committee posts 34% increase in budget transfers

In January-August of this year, the budget transfers from the State Customs Committee (SCC) amounted to 3,767,061,000 manats ($2.22 billion), up 34.1% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the SCC.
In the reporting period, the revenues from customs duties increased by 18.8% to 905.771 million manats ($532.81 million), from value-added tax (VAT) by 41.8% to 2,712.875 million manats ($1.60 billion), excise taxes decreased by 0.06% to 106.326 million manats ($62.54 million), road tax grew by 49.8% to 42.09 million manats ($24.76 million).
