Azerbaijan's Customs Committee posts 3% increase in budget transfers

In January-July 2021, the State Customs Committee (SCC) transferred AZN 2,424,033,000 to the state budget, marking an increase of 2.7% from the previous year, the Committee told Report.
In the reporting period, revenues from customs duties increased by 15.6% to AZN 657.017 mln, from value-added tax (VAT) decreased by 2.5% to AZN 1,649.757 mln, from excises rose by 18.15% to AZN 92.737 mln while road tax revenues soared by 19.8% to AZN 24.52 mln.
