Azerbaijan's Central Bank, IMF discuss achievement of monetary policy goals

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has conducted discussions on the achievement of monetary policy goals with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Taleh Kazimov, chairman of the CBA, wrote on X, Report informs.

“We met with Anna Bordon, IMF Mission Chief for Azerbaijan, Middle East, and Central Asia, and discussed macroeconomic indicators and development prospects in our country. During the meeting, we exchanged views on the progress towards achieving monetary policy goals, enhancing the transmission of monetary policy, and improving the monetary policy framework. We also shared our perspectives on future directions for cooperation and technical assistance,” Kazimov stated.
