Azerbaijan’s CBA insurance brokers from Luxembourg, UAE to its registry

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has included Howden Specialty Luxembourg, S.ά.r.l from Luxembourg and Volante (DIFC) from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the registry of foreign insurers, reinsurers, and insurance brokers, Report informs, referring to the CBA.
This addition brings the total number of foreign brokers in Azerbaijan's insurance market to 95. Earlier in November, Türkiye's BMS Group Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage JSC was also added to the registry.
Howden Specialty Luxembourg, S.ά.r.l has been active in the insurance and reinsurance sector since 2019, while Volante (DIFC) has been operating since 2021.
