Azerbaijan’s budget revenues from customs duties fall by over 23%

In the first four months of 2025, Azerbaijan’s state budget revenues through customs authorities reached nearly 2.065 billion manats (over $1.214 billion), reflecting a 4.3% year-on-year (YoY) surge, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.
Revenues from customs duties fell by 23.4% YoY to 580.292 million manats (over $341.3 million), while value-added tax (VAT) collections rose by 21.1% YoY, totaling just under 1.39 billion manats (just over $817.1 million).
At the same time, excise tax revenues surged by 26.5% YoY to 80.378 million manats (approximately $47.3 million), and road tax revenues climbed 19.94 YoY to 15.172 million manats ($8.92 million).
