Azerbaijan's budget deficit drops 34%

The budget revenues of Azerbaijan in 2023 made up 35,574.8 million manats ($20.93 billion) and the budget expenditures – 36,458.5 million manats ($21.45 billion), respectively, up 16% and 13.7% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Consequently, the budget deficit amounted to 883.7 million manats ($519.82 billion), down 34.4% from 2022.
