Azerbaijan returns nearly $750M of debt in 1H24

In total, 1.270 billion manats (over $747.2 million) of the state budget expenses in Azerbaijan accounted for servicing state debt and obligations in the first half of this year, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry.
During January through June 2024, 1.1 billion manats (approximately $647.2 million) were spent on foreign debt service expenses and 170.1 million manats (just over $100 million) were allocated for domestic debt service expenses.
