Azerbaijan represented at 56th Annual Meeting of ADB

The delegation led by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov left for Incheon, Republic of Korea, to participate in the 56th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to be held from May 2 to 5, Report informs, citing the ministry.

The meeting themed “Rebounding Asia: Recover, Reconnect, and Reform” is taking place in offline format for the first time after the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting is expected to bring together about 5,000 participants, including finance ministers and central bank governors from ADB members, officials from international organizations, and representatives from the private sector, civil society organizations, and media. It will provide momentum in deepening mutual understanding and economic cooperation between Korea and economies in the Asia-Pacific region a step further.
