Azerbaijan posts 22% decline in troubled loans

As of February 1, 2024, overdue loans in Azerbaijan amounted to 454.1 million manats ($267.12 million), up 3.7% from a month earlier, and down 22.2% from a year earlier, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
By the end of January 2024, the share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio was 1.9%, while this figure was 1.8% at the end of December and 2.9% at the end of January 2023.
