Azerbaijan increases investments in Georgia over 30 times

Azerbaijan invested $53.6 million in Georgia in 2023, an increase of 31.5 times year-on-year, Report informs referring to the National Statistical Office of Georgia.

Azerbaijan’s share in the total volume of foreign investment in this country in 2023 amounted to 3.4%.

Foreign direct investment in Georgia amounted to $1.594 billion last year, a drop of 24% year-on-year.

The main foreign investor in Georgia in 2023 was the UK with $392 million.
