Azerbaijan, China may deepen institutional cooperation in banking sector

Taleh Kazimov, the Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, and Pan Gongsheng, the chairman of the People's Bank of China, have discussed institutional cooperation in the banking sector between the two countries, Report informs, citing the CBA.

During the meeting held within the framework of the AlUlaCEME2025 conference, views were exchanged on the reforms implemented by central banks in the field of monetary policy, trends in expanding the application of digital currencies and financial technologies, and issues of deepening institutional cooperation between the institutions, including organizing knowledge and experience exchanges within this framework, were discussed.
