Azerbaijan, Albania ink MoU on supreme audit

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan and the State Supreme Audit of Albania, Report informs, referring to the Chamber of Accounts.
The document was signed during the visit of the delegation led by the chairman of the chamber, Vugar Gulmammadov, to Tirana, the capital of Albania. The visit aims to participate in the jubilee event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Albanian State Supreme Audit.
As part of the event, a bilateral meeting was held between the chairman of the Chamber of Accounts, Vugar Gulmammadov, and the head of the Albanian State Supreme Audit, Arben Shehu.
During the meeting, Shehu highlighted the importance of expanding international cooperation between the two institutions.
The signed MoU provides for joint activities on data analytics, strengthening institutional capacity, and professional development of employees.
The heads of both institutions expressed confidence that this document will make an important contribution to establishing a sustainable and productive partnership, while also serving to increase the quality of audit.
