Average salary in Azerbaijan up by 3%

As of January 1 this year, the number of employees in Azerbaijan’s economy increased by 6,400 people or by 0.4% compared to January 1 last year, to 1,705.1 people, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.
Some 904,700 of them are employed in the state sector of the economy, and 800,400 are engaged in the non-state sector.
In 2021, the average nominal salary of employees in the country increased by 3.4% compared to 2020 and amounted to 732 manats.
