Annual inflation rate makes up 12.4% in Azerbaijan

In January-April 2022, the consumer prices index (CPI) made up 112.4%, food products, drinks, and other products – 117.4%, non-food products – 106.4%, and paid services - 110.2%, Report informs.

According to the State Statistical Committee, in March, the CPI stood at 101.0% compared to the previous month, and 113% compared to a year earlier.

In April 2022, the index of prices of food products, drinks, and tobacco products was 101.7% against the previous month, and 118.4% against the previous year.

The index of prices of non-food products accounted for 100.6% compared to a month earlier, 107.1% by contrast a year ago.

The index of prices of paid services accounted for 100.4% compared to a month earlier, 110.2% in comparison to the previous year.
