Annual inflation in Türkiye rises to 61.53% in September

Annual inflation in Türkiye accelerated to 61.53% in September from 58.94% in August, Report informs, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
“In September, inflation amounted to 4.75% on a monthly basis and 61.53% on an annual basis,” the institute said.
At the same time, the independent Inflation Analysis Group (ENAG) states that the annual figure was 130.13%.
The Central Bank of Türkiye earlier raised its inflation forecast for the end of the year to 58%.
