ADB's managing director general: Expanded financing necessary to achieve climate goals

Increasing the flow of available finance is key to achieving the economic and social changes needed to achieve climate action goals, ADB's Managing Director General Woochong Um told a seminar themed “Achieving Climate Outcomes for Transformation” held within the framework of the bank's 57th annual meeting, Report's correspondent seconded to Tbilisi informs.
According to him, the number of extreme weather events in different parts of the world is increasing: "The effects of climate change are becoming more and more evident, from unprecedented droughts to devastating floods, and they are happening more often than before."
