Georgia is one of the regional leaders in terms of technological innovation and is also an important link between Europe and Asia, the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Masatsugu Asakawa said at the 57th annual ADB meeting in Tbilisi, Report informs via Georgian media.
“Georgia is hosting the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank for the first time. Georgia, with its important history, is taking impressive steps into the future. It is one of the leaders in technological innovation in the region, as well as an important link between Europe and Asia,” he said.
The head of the ADB noted that such issues as financial technologies, connections between Europe and Asia, Georgia’s contribution to regional development, etc. will be discussed during the annual meeting.
