ADB expects Georgia’s economy to expand by 3.5%

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) expected Georgia’s economy to grow by 3.5% this year, Report informs.
According to the bank, the GDP will rise 6% in 2022.
The document says Georgia’s economy depends on tourism: “Gradual lifting of restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic must restore Georgia’s economic growth in 2021, accelerate the process in 2022.”
The inflation is forecasted to drop to 5% this year, to 3.5T next year.
