57th annual meeting of Asian Development Bank kicks off in Tbilisi

The 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) begins today in Tbilisi, Georgia, Report informs.

The theme of this year's meeting is “Bridge to the Future.”

The event will take place from May 2 to May 5.

One of the first panel discussions at the event will be “Strengthening Connectivity: European Connectivity (Renewable Energy and Digital Connectivity) and the Middle Corridor (Reshaping Euro-Asian Connectivity)”. Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov is expected to speak during this panel discussion.

Each year, the event is attended by several thousand people, including finance ministers, central bank governors, senior government officials, representatives of the private sector, international organizations, civil societies, as well as youth and the media.
